Scholarship Detail:
The Target/UNCF Community Leaders Scholarship Program has been established with a $40,000 contribution from Target and is designed to provide financial assistance to deserving UNCF students with an unmet financial need and have demonstrated a commitment to giving back to their communities. The recipients of this award will be known as Target Community Leaders. Eight students will be selected to receive a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 for the 2007-08 academic year.

Scholarship Detail:

National City and United Negro College Fund (UNCF) announced a scholarship program for the 2007-2008 academic year. The ten scholars will be invited to meet National City executives and discuss career opportunities in financial services. It is preferred that the applicants meet eligibility criteria and make satisfactory applicants should also have a financial need. The select institutions for the program are the following:

Central State University
Clark Atlanta University
Florida A&M University
Hampton University
Howard University
Lincoln University (PA)
Wilberforce University.

Classifications: Undergraduate Sophomore, Undergraduate Junior, Undergraduate Senior
