Institutional academic cooperation
to sponsor long-term collaborations between foreign academics, already sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and German researchers.
Maximal sponsorship: 55,000 EUR
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation supports longer-term collaborations between scientists and scholars who have already been sponsored by the Humboldt Foundation and German scientists within the framework of an institutional partnership. This form of follow-up sponsorship is intended to focus on individual follow-up measures in order to create a solid basis for academic collaboration over a longer period of time. Prerequisites for application:
- one of the applicants works at a German research institute;
- one of the applicants works at a foreign research institute in one of the world wide countries (PDF) currently eligible for sponsorship (excluding Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Western Europe and USA), and is a Humboldt Research Fellow or Award Winner.
Applications should include the following documents:
- completed application form giving additional details on the cost and time schedules;
- detailed plan of the subject matter of the joint research and the collaboration planned;
- tabular curriculum vitae and publication list, covering the last five years, for each of the researchers involved;
